A qualified solicitor and Advocate in Nigeria, Deji has a Law Degree from the prestigious University of Lagos, Nigeria and a Master of Law Degree from the renowned University of California, Berkeley.
Deji's work experience spans a period of about 12 years of successful practice with a law firm described as Nigeria's largest full service and foremost leading law firm by Chambers Global, Legal 500 and International Financial Law Review IFLR 1000.
Deji has, at various periods over the years, practiced in diverse areas, which include business advisory, corporate commercial and litigation. Deji's practice experience across practice areas includes – advice on the first public-private sector participation project in Nigeria for the development, financing, design, construction, rehabilitation, maintenance and operation of a highway infrastructure through the utilisation of private capital, resources and expertise; contract negotiations, review and enforcement; representation of several multinational companies in actions for the protection of their intellectual property; enforcement actions against dealers of counterfeit products of multinational companies.
Prior to joining The Temple Management Company, Deji was a Key team member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice in his previous firm. He remains a member of the International Trademarks Association and Nigerian Bar Association. Deji has attended several conferences, seminars and workshops and authored several papers.
