Managing Director, Francophone Africa

"J’espère qu’avec ce changement, je serais en mesure de mieux servir les talents africains selon leurs besoins actuels et futurs."

Hadja is a proud Bison, passionately representing her alma mater, Howard University, everywhere she goes. Prior to landing at the Temple, she served as Head of Public Relations and Special Projects with the Universal Music Group in Paris and Abidjan. Her experience as a seasoned talent scout and versatile promoter with vast international influence in the area of media and public relations is invaluable to TMC.

She has over the years established herself as one of Africa’s most influential A&R persons working with global brands like Roc Nation, BET and South By South West (SXSW). She is also the curator of Sounds from Africa, a rallying point at the yearly SXSW conference for some of the biggest musicians out of Africa and in the Diaspora.

She is keen to help the world understand that the African Entertainment Industry isn't just confined into East, West or South Africa, but that there are important stories in francophone, lusophone and North Africa as well. Her goal, through Temple, is to be the curator of these stories.
