Oboh, the first Nigerian lady in the LET event, will pair with South Africa’s Catherine Lau in the 36-hole Serengeti Team Championship, in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. Oboh missed the cut by one shot at the Canon Sunshine Ladies Tour Open last week. This is the second tournament this year for Oboh out of over eight competitions lined up for her in South Africa. The aim is to improve on her skills, as well as rub shoulders with the best in the world.

Home course favourite, Lejan Lewthwaite has boosted her chances of a maiden Sunshine Ladies Tour win by roping in two-time champion, Nobuhle Dlamini. The Benoni golfer believes they have what it takes to win the Betterball tournament. We are all extremely excited to get going. «We got along brilliantly and it was a no-brainer that we would team up for the Serengeti Team Championship,» said Dlamini from Swaziland.
